WPL heads to Atlanta while D2 readies to defend home turf

Both WPL and D2 face league matches this weekend, with WPL heading south to take on the Atlanta Harlequins and D2 hosting Harrisburg on the Furies’ home field.

The Furies have focused this week on fitness, defensive launching, and both offensive and defensive set pieces.

On Sunday, WPL will play their third league match of the season, against the Harlequins at Life University.

Back home in DC, it should be a beautiful Saturday for D2’s match against Harrisburg. This will be the first game the Furies have played on their practice field in DC since D2’s match against Brandywine last spring.

The starting lineup for D2’s match will be:
