The Washington Women’s RFC finished September on a high note. While the Division 2 team took a bye week, the WPL women flew to Atlanta where they secured a 24-19 win. With a 2-1 record, the Premier team ranks 2nd in the League’s Red Conference, and 3rd overall, at the season’s halfway point. The locally-competitive Furies in the Division 2 league have 2 games under their belts, at a 1-1 record. Going into the third match of the season this Saturday against Norfolk Storm, the Furies hope to execute another win, boosting their rankings in the Division 2 Mid-Atlantic South Bracket.
